In 1998 my sister-in-law introduced me to rubber stamping as a hobby, I jumped in with both feet enjoying the creative ideas I would come up with for cards. Then in May of 2000, I was being transferred to another job in San Antonio TX and would be leaving behind my source for ordering the high quality products that Stampin' Up is famous for. Since becoming a demonstrator, I have moved around from Texas, to Tennessee, and back to Washington state. I signed up as a demonstrator namely to continue my access to the products I desired plus the added benefit of attending the annual convention where there is great friendship and sharing among all the attendees.
I'm currently hoping to spread my wings and actually start doing workshops outside of my own house and the Cards for Veterans events held at Madigan Army Medical Center, ground floor, in front of the Holstein Coffee Bar. The results of the Card for Veterans events are passed out to the inpatients of the hospital on the day of the holliday and from the coffee bar the week of.
